Mentoring can be a powerful personal development tool to motivate, inspire and challenge an employee. As a result, some organisations may have a mentoring program which managers will play a key part of.

• Identify the qualities of a good mentor
• Discuss how to establish a mentoring relationship
• Explain how to mentor staff members of varying needs
