The Master class workshop is a bridging course to inform current Board-approved supervisors of their requirements in competency based supervision and the core competencies supervisors must fulfil. It will explore recent changes to guidelines, forms, procedures and requirements in 4+2 and 5+1 pathways, higher degrees and endorsed pathways. This interactive workshop aims to deliver participants experiential learning opportunities methods, techniques, interpersonal and reflective practice skills.
The masterclass contains an assessment component enabling you to continue to meet eligibility as a supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
This course attracts 7 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points.
All psychologists who wish to supervise provisional psychologists in a workplace training program are required to first successfully complete a Psychology Board-approved full supervisors training package or a supervisors master class for supervisors previously approved by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) prior to July 2013.
